Trip Report:

Fri.   Started off in Shamrock with topwaters.  Caught 2 trout early, 22” and 20”, both heavy.  Lost red, broke hook off lure.   Moved to 3 poles, caught about 10 smaller fish, with 2 keepers, 16”.  One drift between islands, nothing.  Became cloudy.  Stites waders completely water absorbant now.  Tried cut into flat, caught 20+, 6 keepers, 1 red, 23”, 5 trout, a 22”, two 20”s, 19” and a 17”.  Bait of choice in cut, 1/8 head with purple/truce tail.

Sat.   Started off again in Shamrock with topwaters.  All the bait was there, but only 2 fish.  1 nice, very heavy 24”trout.  Tried East Flats.  NO WATER ON FLAT!  Tried outside drop, no bites.  Went to outside beach.  Hopscotched entire shore, only 5 small trout.  Saw porpose hitting top, so we went to see.   Only mating.  Went to Shamrock Island.  Didn’t stay, got cloudy and cold.  Went to rig tower/ship channel, no water.  Went to cuts, didn’t stay, no water.  Went to Coach Moon’s east shore, caught 10 small trout, no keepers.  Went home an went to sleep!!!???
