July 21, 2007 Tri-County CCA w/ Kerr, Ron Mexico:

Got to the port to find Kerr good and sober at the captains meeting.  Talked him into taking us out for a quickee (not hard to do).  Hit the normal cut south with a red coming on top, and a ton of fish back there, just not feeding.  Proceed to NE cut, with good numbers of trout at mouth.  Pretty fun start, with good stories from the previous days we missed.

Sat. took us north, hitting the old pattern.  Munions only produced a 6 lb red and a 17” trout, with Koll missing 4 fish, one really good one.  The guys up north had one trout around 19”, with Kerr breaking off a 25” red.  Hit Oaks Pier, with nothing doing (one trout).  Hit wisemen, with TROUT up against shore.  Missed one over 25” and another around 23”ish, with 2 others popping off.  Frustrating soft bite with fish coming at you fast.  Did manage 2 trout on first wade (batting .200…crappy).  Stayed and hopscothced…Koll and I walked the shore and started catch reds to 22”…loaded spot right at the boat…probably landed 10 fish right at boat.

Headed south to fenceline, which was blown out and sucked…no time to go to RS.  Ended with 14 lbs and some good stories.  Went to bed early.
